Is there a free Last Man Standing app? Yes, and here's how it works

Yes. Champs FC is a free Last Man Standing app for the Premier League. There's no entry fee, nothing to download and no purchase necessary. It runs in the browser on your phone or computer, and it does the admin for you: collecting picks, checking results, knocking people out and tracking who has used which team.

You can play in two ways:

• The Global Pool: one free public pool anyone can join. Season 1 started with 171 players and was won at Matchweek 5. Season 2 starts at Matchweek 6 on Saturday 10 October 2026.
• A private pool: set one up for your mates, family or office in about a minute, share the join link, and it starts from the next matchweek that's open for picks.

How Last Man Standing works

The rules fit in four lines:

1. Pick one team each matchweek. You can change your pick as often as you like until the first kick-off.
2. Your team has to win. A draw or a loss and you're out.
3. You can't use the same team twice in the same pool.
4. The last player left wins.

Picks stay hidden from everyone else until the matchweek starts, so nobody can copy you. The full published rules are on the rules page.

What the app does for you

If you've ever run a Last Man Standing on WhatsApp and a spreadsheet, these are the parts you no longer have to do:

• Chasing picks. Everyone picks in the app, and anyone who hasn't picked gets a reminder email before the deadline.
• Missed picks. If someone forgets, they're given an unused team automatically, so they stay in rather than going out on a technicality.
• Checking results. Results come in automatically and the app works out who survived.
• Used teams. The pick screen greys out every team you've already used.
• Everyone out at once. If every remaining player loses in the same week, nobody goes out and the week is replayed with the same field. There's always exactly one winner. Here's how that works.

Is it really free?

Yes. Champs FC is free to play and there's no entry fee for any pool, public or private. It's for players aged 18 and over. Private pools can write down what the winner gets and a forfeit for the first one out, so the whole group can see it on the pool page. Champs FC never collects or holds money for a pool.

Not a survivor fan? Try Predictor

Champs FC also runs Predictor, a free score-prediction league. Each matchweek you predict the exact score of three featured matches: 3 points for the exact score, 1 for the right result. You're never knocked out, and you can join at any point in the season.

How to start

2. Join the Global Pool, or set up a private pool and share the link.
3. Make your first pick before the first kick-off of the matchweek.
